Dr. David Grunwald was awarded a seed grant from CGM to further develop precise gene editing techniques in zebrafish. He is finding ways to vastly increase the efficiency of CRISPR-induced edits, making zebrafish an even more tractable genetic model of development, physiology, and disease.
