PostDoctoral Resources

The Human Genetics Department offers many opportunities for postdoctoral scientists to pursue research under the mentorship of our faculty.  Postdoctoral training in Human Genetics laboratories is supplemented by opportunities to participate in Department Research-In-Progress meetings and in a broad range of interdepartmental Interest Groups and Training Grants that provide opportunities to follow specific areas of research.  The Utah Life Sciences Postdoctoral Organization (ULSPO) builds a scientific and social community for postdocs and provides a forum for broad faculty mentorship and interaction between many departments. The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs also has useful information on postdoctoral studies at the University of Utah.
