The Department of Human Genetics, School of Medicine, and Utah Museum of Natural History support outreach and education to precollege teachers and students through the Genetic Science Learning Center. The Center is housed at the Eccles Institute of Human Genetics and has a professional staff. Programs include original web-based genetics curriculum, Utah teacher training courses, workshops for kids, and presentations at national teacher conventions.
